Illegal Slaughterhouses Banned by Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath's government in UP is in action. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the state DGP to stop illegal slaughterhouses. Please note that many slaughterhouses in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Kanpur and Allahabad have been closed in this order. Yogi Adityanath has instructed to stop the smuggling in the whole state.
The UP government has also prepared an action plan to fight against illegal slaughterhouses in UP. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the police officials to prepare an action plan to stop slaughterhouses in the state. Adityanath also ordered a complete ban on trafficking of cows.
In the Kamal Dada area of Jaitpura police station area of Varanasi, the district administration sealed an abattoir allegedly running illegally. Police officials said that this incident came just two days after the formation of the BJP government under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. Officials claimed that the abattoir was closed in 2012 but the work was being done in a secret way. A joint team of pollution control board and municipal corporation took action with the administrative and police officials, seized the abattoir box and recovered more than five dozen cattle. Officials said that the abattoir manager failed to show the valid documents related to the cattle, after which the abattoir was sealed.
Two slaughterhouses were sealed in Allahabad
It has been learned that the managers told the officers that the cattle had been temporarily brought and sent to other places. They also denied that the cattle were cut in there. Two abattoirs were sealed in Allahabad shortly after Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
