CNG IS NOT THAT SAFE AS YOU THINK

CNG
Compressed Natural Gas, also called CNG is thought to be a cleaner alternative to diesel and was the sole explanation for picking it rather than the conventional fuel. However, another study has discovered that CNG could be more unsafe over the long period of time. A study by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) states that CNG run vehicles are destructive for people as they discharge nanocarbon particles which can be the main reason behind having cancer.

These nano carbons are carcinogenic as indicated by the study by the CSIR. Carcinogenic substances cause cell division faster than usual rate which could increase DNA changes that prompts to cancer. The greater part of transport buses in the national capital Delhi are running on CNG and this is a major issue that administration need to take up if CISR's discoveries are valid.

Natural gas was supposed be a perfect fuel. A professor from University of Alberta (Canada), built up a machine that measures the molecule size and distribution of the fumes from an IC (Internal Combustion) motor. He put this machine on (exhaust tail pipe) a natural gas-powered DTC transport in Delhi and rode around the city.

We have these nano carbon particles skimming around the environment of Delhi. These nano carbon particles can enter straight through your nose into your lungs and can infiltrate through the membranes directly into your blood. They can be extremely rich in polynuclear aromatics which are carcinogenic. One thing the nano molecule gives, is a large surface area per unit volume."

The dark smoke from diesel motors is equally unsafe as the unvisible smoke transmitted by CNG vehicles. The emission study was done on few transport buses in Delhi with one professor from Alberta University who has built up a machine to measure and analyse down the nanocarbon discharge.

We think the govt must be far sighted in all perspectives or administering, particularly the ones which could influence the health of the masses. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research set up in 1942 is a self-ruling body and India's R&D association which should be taken seriously. This can't be rubbished as some Anti-National purposeful publicity by a foreign funded NGO and requires genuine considerations. We at free doctor helpline ask the govt to investigate the earnestness of the issue and act before it's past the point of no return.
